PATA invites you to audition at the Unified Shakespeare & Classical Auditions on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
Registration will be open until February 2nd at 5pm PT.
To register for in-person auditions, RSVP for one of the time slots below.
If you’re unable to attend in-person and would like to submit a video audition, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a link to submit your audition. Eligibility requirements still apply.
To participate in these auditions, actors must have an Individual-level membership in good standing with either PATA or Theatre Puget Sound at time of registration and through the audition date (February 3rd, 2024).
If you are not currently a PATA member, you can sign up for a membership here: https://portlandtheatre.com/join-us/ *Please note that free user accounts do not qualify as a membership.
There is no additional fee to participate in these auditions.
Unified Shakespeare & Classical Auditions are only open to actors age 18 or older.
If you are a TPS member, please email email@example.com with proof of your membership (a screenshot is fine) after registering for a time slot.
Auditions must be 2 minutes or less, not including your introduction, and may include up to two classical monologues. At least one monologue must be in verse, and PATA recommends that at least one monologue be from a Shakespeare play. Transitions between pieces are considered part of your 2 minutes.
PATA does not assemble a headshot/resume binder for these auditions, so please bring enough headshots and resumes for each auditor. You can find a list of auditors in the FAQ section on the auditions page (https://portlandtheatre.com/auditions) which will be updated throughout the open registration period. We expect there will be around 10 auditors in attendance.
Please see the auditions page (https://portlandtheatre.com/Auditions) for full details on audition requirements and recommendations.
