New Workshop Alert!
We are incredibly excited to bring you this valuable workshop with performance psychology consultant and mental performance coach Julia Thornton.
In recent research, 80% of professional actors and over half of professional musicians report performance anxiety to be a challenge in their careers, yet our learned methods to cope with it are limited. If this is something you struggle with you are not alone.
This class will go beyond the typical advice of “practicing more” and “taking a deep breath” and dive into strategies drawn from cognitive psychology and mindfulness-acceptance based approaches. All levels and all experiences are welcome whether you suffer from extreme performance anxiety or just the occasional jitters.
By learning effective strategies to release yourself from the grips of performance anxiety you can perform better, feel better, and lean into the joy of your craft.
As always, this PATA-hosted workshop is sliding scale ($5-35).
