4 Week Acting Class with Alissa Jessup

This 4 week acting series is focused on exploring creativity, having fun, and bringing authentic characters to life! Whether you’re new to acting or have tons of experience, this series will meet you where you are and help you dig deeper.
What’s the class about?
This class takes an embodied approach to acting, helping you connect deeply with your character while enjoying the process every step of the way.
Don’t just play the character—Embody the character and let them change you.
If you do that, trust me, acting will stop being just a craft.
It’ll become pure art. And more fun!
Why take this class?
I’ve been an actor, coach, and director for over 20 years, working in both theater and film. I’ve had the privilege of guiding actors through all sorts of journeys, and my goal is to help you create deeply honest, living, breathing characters that feel true to you. No matter where you are in your process, I’m here to support you.

Class Details:
When: Tuesdays 6:30–9:00 PM
Dates: March 18 – April 8
Where: Shaking the Tree
Cost: Sliding scale $180 / $240 / $300 (Pay what you can within this range)
