The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) is hosting our 27th Annual Furball Fundraiser – Purrlock Holmes on Saturday, May 3, 2025. We are looking for volunteers, approximately 8-10 men and women, with theatre and/or improv experience to assume the roles of our various suspects. Volunteers will spend 90 minutes in character interacting with guests to help or hinder them in their quest to find the perpetrator.
This opportunity is improv-based so you will receive your character’s background/bio along with instruction from the Director either the day of or the day before the event. Little prep is necessary. The scene will begin at 5 PM and end at 6:45 PM. The total time commitment is an estimated 2.5 – 3 hours, (4 PM – 7 PM). All actors will meet with the Director for at least 30 minutes before the event.
The Furball is FCCO’s largest annual fundraiser and provides critical funding for our spay/neuter program for feral and stray cats. This event brings together over 250 people.
