Auditor Registration – 2024 Citywide General Auditions

PATA invites you to audit the 2024 Citywide General Auditions.

When (updated): Sunday March 24th 5-9pm & Monday March 25th 1:30pm-8pm

• We are trying a new scheduling system this year in an attempt to more closely group musical and non-musical auditions. We will have a more detailed breakdown of the schedule after actor registration closes on March 10th. Depending on the number of actors registered, the audition hours may also be condensed.
• ***UPDATES*** With actor registration now closed, we have more details to share on the schedule:
• Sunday’s auditions will run from 5-9pm, with 5-6:30pm being monologue-only auditions. 6:30-9pm will be a mix of song/monologue auditions.
• Monday will run from 1:30-7:30pm, with 1:30-2:30pm being monologue-only auditions. 2:30-8pm will be a mix of song/monologue auditions. There will be a 45 minute break mid-afternoon.

Where: The Judy (home of Northwest Children’s Theater) – 1000 SW Broadway Ave, T-100, Portland, OR 97205

• If you have a Company-level PATA membership in good standing with a renewal due date on or after March 25th, 2024, auditing at this event is included as a membership benefit.  
• Actively casting entities without a Company-level PATA membership may audit at this event for a $50 fee. 

Each auditing company will receive a binder containing each actors headshot, resume, and additional details. Please register by March 17th to ensure we have time to print a binder for you.

There will also be the option for actors to submit a digital audition if they are unable to attend live. Auditors will receive a spreadsheet containing virtual submissions the week following in-person auditions.

Auditing companies may have more than one representative present, but all representatives should be actively associated with the auditing company and/or their upcoming season. Please include your total number of representatives in the RSVP below so that we can have an accurate headcount for planning purposes.

Please note, we will have a 45-minute mid-afternoon break on Monday, but we will not be providing meals this year. Light refreshments will be provided both days.
