Classical Monologue Audition Prep Workshop

January 12, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$5.00 – $65.00

Prepare for the Unified Shakespeare & Classical Auditions with Jonathan Cullen

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to build on the skills you practiced in the Introduction to Working with Classical Text workshop. (Note: You do not need to have participated in that workshop to sign up for this one.)

Bring your chosen audition monologue(s) and get a chance to perform them with feedback from skilled instructor Jonathan Cullen. Whether you’re just getting your piece on its feet or are looking to put on the finishing touches, this workshop will help you take the next steps toward being prepared for the upcoming Unified Shakespeare & Classical Auditions.

Feel free to wear what you plan to perform in at the auditions, or whatever makes you comfortable. We recommend bringing a water bottle, a copy of your pieces, and a mask to wear while not being coached (optional).

Date & Time: Sunday, January 12th, 1-5pm

Location: Musicians Union Local 99 Rehearsal Hall – 325 NE 20th Avenue, Portland, OR 97232
