HOUSE MANAGER (PT)
The Lakewood Theatre is now accepting resume submissions for a part-time position as a House Manager. Shifts typically range from 3-6 hours in length, 2 – 3 days/week. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with computer skills, a positive service-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule. We’re looking for a person who is comfortable working independently and as a team.
Hours: approx. 10 – 15 hours a week.
HOUSE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that lobby, auditorium, and bathroom areas are cleaned and maintained for each performance or event.
• Resolving any patron complaints/issues arising during productions.
• Coordinating, training, and maintaining volunteer ushers and concession counter clerks.
• House managers must be OLCC server permit. Lakewood will pay for course work and permit.
House Manager shifts currently available are:
Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm -10:30 pm 1 Saturday matinee per run 12 pm – 5:00 pm
Skills desired: • Strong communication skills • Multi -Tasking • Ability to assume a leadership role when training volunteers for each shift • Strong customer service background Ability to take initiative in challenging situations • Experience with Square Point of Sales a plus
The House manager must have their own transportation and be able to regularly lift and/ or move up to 20 pounds.
