Self-tape auditions require an actor to be more than just an actor. They also have to be a camera operator, lighting person, computer technician, & editor. There are frequently many requirements casting directors demand that seem complex and time consuming.
This class will demystify the process and clarify the technical aspects needed. It will also help in prep for an audition where the actor might not have another actor or director present.
Actors will need a cell phone, tripod, simple lights (like a ring light) and a quiet room with minimal echo and a plain background. They should also have a computer with a good internet connection and a Zoom account.
Dates and times: Monday January 16th and Wednesday January 18th, 7-9:30pm
This is a virtual class and will take place online via Zoom.
