The Seagull

The Seagull (by Anton Chekhov and translated by Michael Frayn) is a dark comedy about the hilarious and painful pitfalls of unrequited love and obsession. No one has what they want and no one wants what they have. Medvedenko loves Masha who loves Konstantin who loves Nina who loves the idea of fame that Arkadina clings to and Trigorin bemoans.
