Do you have a script that is ready to be taken to the next level? Are you curious about what possibilities are out there for aspiring actors, playwrights, and more? RACC’s Expert Talk series offers a unique platform for emerging to established artists to receive tailored advice and feedback from professionals in their field. Sign up to speak virtually with Benjamin Fainstein (www.benjaminfainstein.com), bringing nearly two decades of experience in the professional theater industry, including significant roles at Portland Center Stage and Yale Repertory Theater; or Cristi Miles (www.cristimiles.com), a versatile theater artist bringing a wealth of experience in acting, teaching, and collaborative creation, particularly through her work with the Portland Experimental Theatre Ensemble.
Expert Talks is designed to provide condensed, dedicated time for artists at any stage of their career and across disciplines to receive career advice and feedback on their work from professionals in their field. Each appointment lasts up to 25 minutes and takes place virtually on Zoom. Registrants are asked to come prepared to the meeting with a clear goal, materials to share and specific questions for the expert. In return, we ask that the experts share their wealth of experience and knowledge, and answer the artists’ questions genuinely, honestly and productively.
