Alice Wilkinson
Biography Alice grew up in New York City and recently re-located to Portland. With over 20 years of dance experience, Alice brings a whimsical and elegant physicality to her characters. Recent credits include Helena/Bottom/Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival (2024), Gertrude in Hamlet, the Nurse/Sister Laurence/Prince in Romeo and Juliet, Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, and the Fool in Lear at the Texas Shakespeare Festival (2023 - 2024). Alice has trained at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, Shakespeare & Company, the Gaiety School of Acting, the Barrow Group, the Martha Graham School, and New York State Summer School of the Arts. Previous credits include Emilie in All the Emilies in All the Universes at Great Plains Theater Commons, Othello at Studio Baton Rouge, Hiya, Dolly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and BBC Radio Scotland, and Sweat at Swine Palace. She holds a B.A in Geography and Theatre from Mount Holyoke College and an M.F.A in Acting from Louisiana State University.
